Dear Parents,

Aashish Foundation is exploring how we can furthur use “Assistive technology” to enhance the lives of people we help.

With this in mind we invite you to a talk by Ms Shilpi Kapoor, who will help us understand what assistive technology is and how we can use assistive technology (AT) to bring about revolutionary changes in the lives of people with disabilities.

Ms. Shilpi Kapoor is the founder director of Net Systems Informatics (I) Pvt. Ltd and Barrier Break Technologies. She has setup both companies with the single vision to ‘break the barriers of knowledge and disabilities’. She has been working to build awareness in the government with regards to the needs of people with disabilities and was instrumental in drafting the National Policy on Electronic Accessibility in association with National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People.
