Forum For Autism- Participation in Mumbai Marathon – Sunday 17th Jan 2010

Hello friends,

On 17th January 2010 we will be running the Mumbai Marathon again… As you already know we are supporting the cause of increasing awareness on Autism.

We are trying to raise funds for the Forum for Autism that helps in creating awareness and also actively participates in helping parents of children affected with this disorder. The Forum for Autism, is a parent support group, a registered Charitable Trust, formed to help out parents of Autistic children in our society.

United Way of Mumbai is the Official Charity Partner to the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2010.

Why do we run the marathon year after year? Because this provides us with a platform to spread awareness about Autism which in turn can help make a difference to the lives of the underprivileged. And this can be achieved by raising pledges.

Pledge raising is when we ask you – friends, family and colleagues to support our run by donating money to the good cause that we have chosen.

We request you to help us by donating for this cause of Autism awareness so that millions of children can be helped with proper diagnosis and early intervention. For donations you can send a cheque payable to “United Way of Mumbai” and courier it to the following address:
