SYNOPSIS: FOLLOWS FIVE AUTISTIC CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES OVER THE COURSE OF SIX MONTHS AND CAPTURES THEIR

DISTINCT PERSONAL STRUGGLES, PRESSURES AND TRIUMPHS AS THE CHILDREN WRITE, REHEARSE AND PERFORM THEIR OWN FULL-LENGTH

MUSICAL.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE DEAF. SHEDS LIGHT ON EVENTS THAT HAVE SHAPED DEAF LIVES INCLUDING THE CREATION OF SCHOOLS FOR

DEAF STUDENTS, THE DEBATE ABOUT AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE, THE CAMPAIGN FOR A DEAF-FRIENDLY TELEPHONE AND INCLUDES

SOME VERY LOUD ROCK AND ROLL.

Many thanks
